Jose Valdez

Professional Background
Jose Valdez was born and raised in Southern California. He attended the University of California Santa Barbara where he double majored in Economics and Environmental Studies. After college, Jose worked at a law firm focused on employment litigation before attending law school.
Jose attended Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles. During law school, he clerked at a firm that represented employees in employment disputes, continuing to develop his interest in employment law. After law school, Jose continued handling plaintiffs’ employment cases and joined Workers’ Rights Legal Group in 2023.
At Workers’ Rights, Jose has second-chaired numerous trials and arbitrations and recently first-chaired an arbitration involving disability discrimination and whistleblower claims.
