JOSE VALDEZ, Associate Attorney

Jose Valdez was born and raised in Southern California. He attended the University of California Santa Barbara where he double majored in Economics and Environmental Studies. After college, Jose worked at a law firm that focused on employment litigation before attending law school.

Jose then attended Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles. During law school Jose continued to pursue his interest in employment law by clerking at a law firm that represented employees in employment disputes. After law school, Jose continued his legal career handling plaintiffs’ employment cases and in 2023 Jose joined Workers’ Rights Legal Group.

At Workers’ Rights, Jose has second-chaired numerous trials or arbitrations and is very proud of having recently first-chaired an arbitration in a disability discrimination and whistleblower case.

In his spare time, you will often see Jose either on the soccer field or the basketball court. He also enjoys cooking for his new bride and spending time with his family and three dogs—Belle, Chase, and Charlie.
